Jakarta — PT BAT Instrumen Bank Internasional has responded to recent misleading allegations shared on social media and minor online outlets. The institution clarified that certain negative posts stemmed from a few clients who failed to comply with contract terms and eligibility requirements for financial facilities.
According to a company spokesperson, BAT operates under a strict legal and compliance framework aligned with both Indonesian and international banking regulations. “All client programs follow verified procedures. When obligations aren’t fulfilled, it naturally delays or disqualifies access to facilities,” the spokesperson explained.
The Bank reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, ethics, and accountability. It urged the public and media to verify facts before sharing unsubstantiated claims. “We stand firm in our principles and continue serving compliant clients with integrity and professionalism,” the statement concluded.
